RIP Little Sammi
One of the hardest things I've ever had to do... was done today. We recently adopted a puppy from the local shelter only to find out she was already sick. We had her to the vet, and tried many different things to try to nurse her back to health, but to no avail. We had to have her put down today. My daughter and I had headaches tonight from all the crying done today.
It's hard not to feel like a complete failure when it comes down to this. We were praying so hard for a miracle. We wanted to save an animal and ended up not being able to keep her alive. I now have three broken-hearted kids and no puppy...Super sad. :-(
